Modern technology is simply an advancement of old technology, the impact of technology in modern life is unmeasurable, we use technology in different ways and sometimes the way we implement various technologies ends up harming our lives or the society we leave in. What we call modern technology is technically not so new in most cases. What used to work before, might not be working now, it must have got old or got replaced by modern technology Let’s look at a simple example in Transportation technology, this technology has evolved with years, we used to use steam powered trains now those have been replaced by electronic trains which move faster than steam trains.modern technology

But our modern brains are also having to adapt to other 21st century intrusions, some of which, such as prescribed drugs like Ritalin and Prozac, are supposed to be of benefit, and some of which, such as widelyavailable illegal drugs like cannabis and heroin, are not.modern technology

Modern technology has some faults but for all the good it has done, it is more than worth it. Tools for social networking, better safety for everything, entertainment and a great deal more, technology is wonderful as long as you maintain a level of self-command.

More recently, modern works of science fiction, such as those by Philip K. Dick and William Gibson , and films (e.g. Blade Runner , Ghost in the Shell ) project highly ambivalent or cautionary attitudes toward technology’s impact on human society and identity.modern technology

Some of the most poignant criticisms of technology are found in what are now considered to be dystopian literary classics, for example Aldous Huxley ‘s Brave New World and other writings, Anthony Burgess ‘s A Clockwork Orange , and George Orwell ‘s Nineteen Eighty-Four And, in Faust by Goethe , Faust’s selling his soul to the devil in return for power over the physical world, is also often interpreted as a metaphor for the adoption of industrial technology.
